2PM's Taecyeon revealed his joker side with a rather unexpected body gag.

On July 31st, 2PM and the Human Survival Contenders went up for the "Iron Man Pentathlon" on KBS2TV's 'Dream Team'.

During this broadcast, several of the 2PM members tried their hardest as they participated in the games, despite their injuries. The Iron Man Pentathlon consisted of tower-stepping stones, a swing cylinder jump, rail sliding, 4-level rotating pinwheels, and a 3-level rotating bridge.

During the investigation stage prior to the competition, Chansung was asked to show a body gag but at that moment, Taecyeon fell off his chair and danced along to the music that was playing, causing the stars of the show to burst out in laughter.

Taecyeon also made a special appearance on the 600th episode of 'Gag Concert' on July 3rd, during which he starred as his 'Dream High' character 'Jin Gook' during the 'Sound of Drama' corner.

Through KBS "Dream Team", aired on July 31st, 2PM had a competition with "Dream Team" members.  Before the competition, Junho and Nichkhun we asked to form partners with one of their fans. However, most of the fans chose Junho as their partner, leaving Nichkhun partner-less with no votes of interest.

Nichkhun later chose a student, but she stated that she was Wooyoung's fan. She stated that she was not too happy being partnered with Nichkhun, leaving Nichkhun lost for words.

[News] 2PM’s manager confesses his impressions of the members

On the July 30th airing of SBS’s ‘2PM Show‘, 2PM’s manager Lee Ju Seob made some honest confessions about the 2PM members.

The manager, who has been with the group since their debut, revealed how he felt about each member from his first impressions to other events he silently witnessed.  As he made each revelation one by one, the 2PM members all felt slightly anxious.

The person who left the strongest first impression, according to the manager, was Nichkhun.  ”I kept an eye on him 3 years ago during his training days. He has caught my eyes from the very beginning” he said and complimented Nickhun on his demeanor.

When asked who out of the group changed the most, the manager revealed that it was maknae Chansung. “When he first appeared in the sitcom I thought he was very child-like, but I think he has changed the most out of the group“. Although Chansung is the youngest, he showed a very mature side of him and eloquently replied to his manager.

Manager Lee Ju Seob also confessed that Taecyeon was the most stubborn, but added, “his stubbornness comes along with his confidence. His confidence is something to respect and strive for“.

[News] 2PM to release their first concert DVD, “DON’T STOP CAN’T STOP”

2PM will soon be releasing their first concert DVD, which includes behind-the-scenes action from their 'DON'T STOP CAN'T STOP' tour.

On July 28th, CJ E&M stated, "To commemorate 2PM's first solo concert that was held last year, a special DVD titled 'THIS IS FOR MY HOTTEST' will be released."

The DVD consists of 3 CDs containing special HD clips of the concert that brought 38,000 fans to their feet. It also captures performances of 2PM at 'MULA' (Mnet Ultimate Live in Asia), as well as clips from the 2010 MAMA, Mnet's 'M! Countdown' and '20's Choice'.

The DVD is set to be released through various online sites as well as in off-line music shops.

Meanwhile, 2PM will hold their second solo concert '2PM HANDS UP ASIA TOUR' in September starting in Seoul, and will tour Japan, Thailand, and other Asian countries for about 2 months.

[News] 2PM’s Junho wanted to have f(x) Krystal on the track of ‘Hands Up’

On the recent broadcast of SBS Strong Heart, 2PM's Taecyeon, in his story 'Rejected by f(x)' Krystal', told that 2PM band members wanted a female celeb to sing on 'Hands Up'. When they were considering possible candidate for the job, they all agreed on Yu Na Kim. But, she couldn't make it due to scheduling conflicts. The next female singer on their list was Krystal from f(x).

The most striking thing that Taecyeon told on the show was that Junho wanted Krystal the most for the track. Junho was inspired by Krystal's performance in Pinocchio. Because of JYP's advice to 2PM members, they asked Krystal personally and she agreed to do it. Taecyeon indicated that Junho was very excited by her approval.

However, due to Krystal's age (She's only 18), she couldn't appear on the track since 'Hands Up' lyrics deal with adult subjects like clubbing and drinking.

Krystal said that she really wanted to do this track because it has such a nice melody. Taecyeon suggests to her to do it on the spot and she sings it on the show.

[News] 2PM's Taecyeon dodges questions on how he knows Jessica’s number

On July 27th, 2PM's Taecyeon guested on SBS's 'Strong Heart' and talked about his 'business relationship' with SNSD's Jessica.

The segment began with 2PM talking about how they failed to cast f(x)'s Krystal to feature in their latest track, "Hands Up". Taecyeon said, "J.Y. Park told us to ask Krystal ourselves, but I'm the one who communicates with SM so I sent the text to Krystal to ask."

Taecyeon revealed that he wanted Kim Yuna at first but gave up after turning on the TV and seeing news reports of Kim Yuna leaving for Russia. "All of the members then chose f(x)'s Krystal, but out of everyone, Junho was the most enthusiastic about casting her."

Krystal accepted the offer, but the entire recording was unfortunately canceled because of the song's lyrics containing lines like, 'Enjoying the club', and 'Let's drink'.

As she is a minor born in 1994, representatives felt that the song was unsuitable for Krystal. Eventually, the song was turned over to Wonder Girls' Sohee.

MC Kang Ho Dong pressed, "How did you find out Krystal's phone number?" Taecyeon replied, "I found out through SNSD's Jessica."

Super Junior's Eunhyuk then raised suspicions by asking, "Nichkhun and Victoria are a virtual couple so you could have asked Nichkhun to find out Krystal's number. Why did you go through Jessica? Even I don't know Jessica's number."

Kang Ho Dong continued by asking, "Do you know the SNSD members' numbers?" Taecyeon replied, "I don't know all of their numbers."

Pressing further, Kang Ho Dong asked, "Is it only Jessica's number you know then?" Put on the spot, Taecyeon finally responded, "I don't talk to Jessica often. I call her when I have a favor to ask."

Fellow guest Kim Young Chul made the studio burst into laughter by commenting that the two were of 'business relations' then.

2PM's new singer-songwriters Junho and Junsu have expressed their honest opinions regarding each other's songs.

On the July 23rd broadcast of SBS Plus's '2PM Show', the two members garnered attention as they began to promote their self-composed songs. On this day, Junho gave his unusual opinion regarding Junsu's "Hot".

Junho said, "It has a electronic sound that is joyful to the ear. I think it's a song that young children will like because it's sort of like instant [food]." To this Junsu responded, "How could you say that to your hyung when you've barely written one song?"

Junho explained, "I wasn't trying to say anything negative… I'm just saying that's how catchy it is. Just like ramen soup, regardless of where you put it in it has presence."

Junsu apparently couldn't let go of the fact Junho compared his song to instant food as he expressed his opinion regarding Junho's "Give It To Me" saying, "The lyrics are very chewy like an octopus."

Nichkhun defended Junho by putting it in his own words saying, "He means that people quickly like the song."

Junsu and Junho released their self-composed tracks on 2PM's latest album. Junsu's "Hot" was a song about love that had a hard-hitting strong beat. Junho's "Give It To Me" is about a guy that is approaching love in a shy but strong way and has a refined beat.

[News] Explosive demand for “2PM HANDS UP ASIA TOUR” prompts second round of tickets

2PM's upcoming concert in Seoul has attracted an explosive response from fans, and it's prompted JYP Entertainment to open a second round of ticket sales!

Starting with Seoul in September, 2PM's second concert – "2PM HANDS UP ASIA TOUR" – will be making its way around Asia.  The first round of tickets went on sale on July 19th, and within less than a week, managed to rank in at #1 on Yes24's weekly ticket sales.  The concert ranked #2 on Interpark's daily sales and on other various ticket sites like Mnet, demonstrating the boys' immense popularity.

[News] 2PM in "K-POP ALL STAR Live in Niigata"

Several of Korea's top idol singers are set to take part of the concert in Japan next month. The concert, titled "K-POP ALL STAR Live in Niigata," will featured SNSD, KARA, BEAST, 2PM, 2AM, 4minute, Infinite, Teen Top, CNBLUE, SISTAR, Secret, and Norazo.

The concert will take place on August 20th at the Tohoku Electric Big Swan Stadium in Niigata. A portion of the concert's proceed will be donated to help victims of the earthquake in March.

2PM is known as one of the most popular boy bands in Korea and several other countries in Asia since their debut in 2008. The boys recently wrapped up their promotional events for song "Hands Up" and will focus on their activities in Japan with the release of their second Japanese single "I'm your man."

Trained and discovered by major talenthouse JYP Entertainment, 2AM released their debut single "This Song" in July 2008. The boys have been busy with their Asia tour where they visited several countries in Asia to promote their album and themselves.

2PM's Chansung recently revealed a proof shot of his no make-up bare face.

On July 26th, Chansung posted a picture and left a message on his me2day account, stating, "Proof shot of my bloated face right after I woke up and received a call from my mom. This is my room next to my bed." He added, "My no make-up face is a little embarrassing. It's not like my skin is all that good.. But I like that the fact that the picture quality isn't that great."

Due to the special broadcast of ‘Music Bank in Tokyo‘ last week, it wasn’t until yesterday that fans found out that 2PM was the K-Chart winner for the 4th consecutive week, thanks to their hit single, “Hands Up“. (Editor's Note: read K-chart here)

[News] 2PM's "Hands Up" on International Charts (Germany & USA)

2PM's HANDS UP has recently shown up on Germany's "Viva TV" CLIP Chart. According to Remarkable Forum (German K-pop Forum!), Viva is a part of MTV Germany! The CLIP chart is based on the number of clicks a video clip gets. German fans discovered that kpop songs were also being included in this and began to share clips and attract more clicks. Thus, 2PM's "HANDS UP" was #45 on the VIVA CLIP Chart for this week! ^^

On July 25th, the group released the "HOT" video on their official YouTube channel. 2PM’s agency, JYP Entertainment announced the release through its official Twitter account.

This song is composed by 2PM's Junsu, about an honest expression of one man's take on love. "HOT" was previously performed for fans back in 2009, and has been re-arranged by Chance for the 2PM "Hands Up" album.

2PM will be having a competition at an outdoor swimming pool.

On the upcoming July 30th episode of SBS E! TV’s ‘2PM Show‘, 2PM will search for a swimming pool to fight the hot summer.

On this upcoming episode, the 2PM boys were separated to old and young teams, holding a variety of showdowns in the water.

The games on this episode include gathering water, jump-roping over floating buoys, and various duels on top of boats. It’s expected that 2PM’s overly competitive battles in the water will cool audiences down from the hot weather.

On the 24th 2PM gave the last performance in Korea on SBS’s Inkigayo. 2PM’s Nickhun tweeted on the 20th, “Hey guys, let’s give a hand for our friends in need in South Africa,” with a picture that shows he has purchased 300 charity bracelets before giving them out as presents for his fans.
