[News] 2PM Wooyoung and Park Se Young cook up octopus on 'We Got Married'
2PM Wooyoung and Park Se Young cooked up the octopus they caught last week on the June 28th episode of 'We Got Married'.
The 2PM member and Park Se Young went for the fresh route as they try to win the 'We Got Married' couples cooking challenge as well as a vacation abroad. Looking at the finished meal, Park Se Young said, "It doesn't seem like we cooked it." The dinner did look amazing, and Wooyoung agreed that it tasted as good as it looked.
Also on the episode, Park Se Young tried her best to get Wooyoung out of paying for the surprise hand-me-downs from the Hong Jin Young-Nam Goong Min couple. She also surprised viewers and the host panel when she opened up Wooyoung's phone, which was locked with a password.

[News] Got7 Members Express Thanks to 2PM’s Nichkhun and Rain
Got7’s Young Jae and Bam Bam expressed their gratitude towards Nichkhun and Rain.
June 24’s broadcast of SBS MTV’s I Got 7 will feature the Got7 members sharing about people or things that have brought them good luck.
When asked what brought him luck, Young Jae answered, “2PM’s Nichkhun hyung,” reasoning that thanks to the 2PM member naming Young Jae as the best looking member of Got7, he earned the image of being the ‘visual’ of the group.
Bam Bam answered, “Rain sunbaenim.” He revealed that he was able to achieve his dream of becoming a singer thanks to his mother, who is a big fan of Rain. He was also able to debut after winning the first place in Rain’s cover dance competition.
Mark then made everyone laugh by saying, “My symbol for good luck is clothespin. Because I have never lost in a game that used a clothespin for punishment.”

[News] 2PM’s Junho to Return with Self-Composed Solo Album
2PM’s Junho will return with a Japanese solo album.
Junho recently participated in a photoshoot and an interview for the July issue of magazine Elle.
Having released his first solo mini album in Japan last July, Junho revealed, “I wrote, composed and produced the entire second solo album Feel, to be released in Japan soon.”
The 2PM member will also be launching a five-city concert tour in Japan.
Keeping himself busy as an actor as well, Junho recently joined the cast of action film Memories of the Sword and Twenty Years Old.

[News] Chinese drama 'One and a Half Summer' releases still cuts of 2PM Nichkhun and Yu Wenwen's kiss scene
Still cuts of the kiss scene between 2PM's Nichkhun and actress Yu Wenwen for the upcoming Chinese-Korean drama 'One and a Half Summer' are stirring fans into a frenzy!
Nichkhun and Yu Wenwen are playing opposite each other as Zhang Hao and Shu Qing, respectively, who meet in Santorini, Greece and fall in love. Nichkhun's first character as lead Zhang Hao is a Chinese-American who takes a trip abroad to avoid an arranged marriage and unexpectedly meets the love of his life.
The 2PM member, who is also currently dating Girls' Generation's Tiffany, discussed the kiss scene at the drama's press conference. He commented, "I was so nervous my entire body was sweating. I kept clenching my hands. It was embarrassing because so many people were watching."

[News] 2PM's Wooyoung and Park Se Young wrestle with octopus in the mud on 'We Got Married'
2PM's Wooyoung and Park Se Young continued on their camping trip on the June 21st episode of 'We Got Married'.
The two received what Wooyoung bought from the Hong Jin Young-Nam Goong Min couple, and Park Se Young was definitely upset about being tricked. She said to Wooyoung, "You bought all these things, so you use them!"
Wooyoung and Park Se Young later went to the beach to fish for octopus. A local taught them how to catch octopus in a hole, and Park Se Young tried it out. They weren't expecting to catch such a large one, however, and had to wrestle with it a little bit. Wooyoung yelled as he grabbed onto the slimy creature.
He later said during his solo interview, "It was like the evil octopus from 'The Little Mermaid'."

It was Big Bang vs. 2PM on the Oricon DVD charts, and Junho rose to the top with his concert DVD!
According to the Oricon Chart on June 19, Junho's first solo tour 'Your Voice' DVD was released on the 18th and charted at #1 on the Oricon Daily Music DVD Chart and #3 on the Oricon Daily Overall DVD Chart.
G-Dragon and Taeyang's 'G-DRAGON X TAEYANG IN PARIS 2014' DVD was also released on the same day (18th) and charted at #4 on the Oricon Daily Overall DVD Chart. B1A4's 'Hotline Season 2' DVD charted at #13 on the Oricon Daily Overall DVD Chart.

[News] GOT7 deny that they feel a rivalry with WINNER + reveal 2PM to be their role model
At GOT7's comeback showcase held on June 18 at the Ax Hall in Seoul, the boys revealed their thoughts on their rivals and role models. They received a question in relation to YG's first boy group in eight years, WINNER, which has often been called the rival for JYP's rookie group, GOT7.
JB said, "This is a tricky question. We do not think of them as rivals, at all. Rather than looking at them in a competitive way, I will look at their strengths to work even harder and I hope that the both of us will come out winners."
In relation to GOT7's strengths, JB continued, "I don't think there is anything that can be called a strength, yet. I do think we are a bit good at martial arts tracking. There's nothing special as of yet, so looks like we need to work even harder."
As for their role models, GOT7 chose their senior label mate group, 2PM. They said, "2PM seniors have the best skills and personalities. They take care of us a lot and there were many times when we were moved by them. Even when we were filming reality program 'I GOT7,' they advised us a lot to not feel burdened and show our normal personalities."
In relation to J.Y. Park, they said, "Producer J.Y. Park is always like a father to us and buys us a lot of food. He is normally kind like that, but when we go into recording, he is like a knife and very detailed when working on his song. He's a true professional and has charisma."
Their second mini-album will be released on June 23 with title track "A"!

[News] 2PM Nichkhun says he wants to grow as an actor in China
2PM's Nichkhun attended the press conference for his upcoming Chinese and Korean collaborative drama 'One and a Half Summer' on June 16 in Shanghai.
According to Chinese media reports on June 17, the director expressed his wishes that the drama will be as popular as 'You Who Came From The Stars,' especially considering how popular Korean dramas are in China.
Meanwhile, Nichkhun hinted at future promotions in China as he expressed his wishes to mature as an actor there. He said, "I did debut in Korea, but I want to develop in China. I wish people would think of me as a Chinese actor rather than a Korean celebrity. In addition, I am half Chinese."
His drama, also starring miss A's Jia, will finally begin airing on June 23!

Park Se Young surprised herself and the panel by beating her onscreen husband Wooyoung in three different games on the June 14th episode of 'We Got Married'.
Continuing from last week, the two lost a game after playing against Park Se Young's friends and 2PM's Chansung and Junho. As a "penalty," Junho told Wooyoung, "Give Park Se Young a back hug and call her 'Princess.'"
Later in the episode, the two stopped by a rest area and indulged themselves in a few games of whac-a-mole, batting, and punching. The 2PM member was eager to impress his onscreen wife, but Park Se Young was the one who had all eyes on her when she beat him.
Wooyoung commented laughing, "There's nothing my wife can't do. I married well."

[News] 2PM’s Nichkhun to Participate in Badminton Event for Multicultural Families
Nichkhun of male group 2PM will be showing his support for diversity by taking part in a badminton event for multicultural families.
On June 9, sports equipment brand Yonex Korea announced that the idol will participate in the 2014 Yonex Badminton Competition for Multicultural Families held at Goyang Sports Hall on June 14.
The event aims to raise the sense of pride among families with diverse cultural backgrounds. Nichkhun, who is currently the spokesmodel for Yonex Korea and their line of badminton equipment, will also hold a signing event for the contestants. As Nichkhun himself has been brought up in a multicultural environment, he must have willingly agreed to participate in the meaningful event.

MBC’s “We Got Married” Season 4 couple Wooyoung and Park Se Young recently released a romantic duet!
According to the episode that aired on June 7, it was revealed that the 2PM member had composed the music and lyrics, while Park Se Young contributed to the lyrics as well.
The first verse is about Wooyoung and Park Se Young’s expectant wishes, and the second verse a conversation between the two about those wishes.
The love song “Two Hands Clasped” was born out of Wooyoung and Park Se Young’s love for music that was communicated since the first day they met.

Indie musician lel released a new single called “Fireflies’ Glow” featuring 2PM‘s Wooyoung.
The single is the fourth in lel’s monthly single project. This single is the first in the songwriter’s monthly singles to feature a different vocalist.
Wooyoung beautifully carries out the sentimental pop ballad with his voice, drastically different from his usual dance-heavy 2PM and solo projects. Unlike the typical ballads, the lyrics of “Fireflies’ Glow” are about remaining hopeful in times of challenges and hardships. lel and Wooyoung discussed to lengths before the recording, and through this single, they tried to portray a different side from Wooyoung’s usual image in the media.

Wooyoung (2PM) and Park Se Young’s cute and sweet duet from “We Got Married” called “Holding Hands” was recently revealed on YouTube. The video is shot somewhat like a music video and has a very relaxed vibe, showing the two having a great time in the recording studio.
It is a given for Wooyoung, but this is not the first time for Park Se Young in the recording studio, either, having released her own song, “Shall We Dance,” in October of last year.
The couple has sure come a long way since their first awkward meeting in January!

[News] 2PM Nichkhun And GOT7 BamBam Team Up With Translation App Flitto For Humanitarian Cause In Thailand
JYP Entertainment stars Nichkhun of 2PM and BamBam of GOT7 have teamed up with Flitto and Plan Korea to raise money for the needy Moken children in Thailand.
Nichkhun and BamBam, who both share Thai heritage, uploaded videos to YouTube showing their support for the fund raising initiative and encouraging their fans to make donations as well.
The aim of the project is to help the Moken children who live in poor conditions and lack the opportunity to get a proper education. The Moken tribe live on the west coast of Thailand and are sea wanderers, which limits them on the opportunity to get educated.
The humanitarian project differs from others like it as it is not necessary to spend a single dime in order to help. Through the popular translation app Flitto, points can be earned by doing translations, earning points, and then donating those points to the Moken children's fund.
According to a press release from Flitto regarding the project, the company's founder and CEO Simon Lee says he hopes to bring people who know more than one language together in Flitto to help those who are less able.
Both Nichkhun and BamBam are active members of popular K-Pop boy groups under JYP Entertainment, and while most of their time is spent in South Korea working on and promoting new music, they wanted to find a way to give back and help out those in need in their native land.
Through their short YouTube videos, Fans who help out have the opportunity to make the donations under the name of their favorite idols or their own name.

[News] 2PM’s Chansung accused of violating South Korean electoral law
2PM’s Chansung uploaded a photo to encourage fans to vote in the election. However, this has now created a controversy as to whether he violated electoral law. A user online claimed to have immediately reported Chansung to the Central Election Commission.
On the June 4th, a polling election took place. Just like other artists, Chansung posted his proof that he completed the election on his Twitter. Chansung is seen doing a V-sign while showing the stamp.
However, the Central Election Commission thought that he was making a number and encouraging the fans to vote for the same person that he voted for. This is against the laws which got the fans attention.
After this controversial, he immediately deleted his photo and uploaded another photo saying, “Is this picture okay?”. Unfortunately, what is seen can’t be unseen and some fans are still viewing him negatively.

An alleged picture of celebrity couple 2PM's Nichkhun and Girls' Generation's Tiffany is becoming a hot topic on the internet after being posted on an online community.
The person who posted the picture claimed that the two were on a secret vacation in Malibu, California with Nichkhun wearing a fedora and sunglasses and Tiffany wearing a dress with her hair loose as she pores over a menu. Recently, 2PM’s Nichkhun attended charity event, “Dream Music” in Hubei, China.
"Dream Music" is a event held for kids so that through music, they will be able to pursue their own dreams. Nichkhun stated how he won’t answer any questions that does not deal with this charity which showed his respect towards this event.
