[News] KBS Disqualifies Three of 2PM’s Songs from ‘Go Crazy’ Album
2PM’s Go Crazy has been disqualified for broadcast by KBS.
According to KBS on September 24, the K-pop music review for the last week of September led to the disqualification of 2PM’s Go Crazy! (djnure VS. Fingazz Remix.), Go Crazy! (BOYTOY Vibe MIX) and Go Crazy! (BOYTOY Crazy MIX). The three songs were judged to be ineligible for broadcasting standards due to the use of inappropriate language in the lyrics.
2PM previously received disqualification for the song Go Crazy! on September 4, for using expressions such as ‘we are determined to go nuts’ and ‘this guy is getting ready for round 2,’ which were judged to be inappropriate. Later, 2PM edited the lyrics to Go Crazy! and passed the review on September 11 and has been promoting the song.
It has been reported that 2PM received the disqualification during the last week of September, after submitting the other album tracks without editing the lyrics.
Aside from this, Holladang’s Kkoltongs and JHG’s Bye Bye Boy were disqualified for using vulgar expressions and belittling individual, respectively. On the other hand, 216 songs, including Jay Park’s The Promise and BTOB’s You’re So Fly, passed the review.
Out of the 221 songs submitted for KBS K-pop review during the last week of September, 216 songs passed the review, while five songs were denied.
