Arnold schwarzenegger dating life, Arnold Schwarzenegger is finally ready to move forward with his life. After repeatedly -- and publicly -- expressing his desire to reconcile with estranged wife Maria Shriver, the Terminator actor has begun seeing another woman, according to The New York Daily News.
The former Governor of California has been on several dates with Heather Milligan, a 38-year-old physical therapist who works on several NFL players in Southern California. The pair dined at Babalu restaurant in Santa Monica, California, on Friday, Feb. 22. According to the newspaper, Schwarzenegger and the pretty blonde "laughed and smiled through their meal and left together in the actor's car." The two were photographed driving around L.A.'s Brentwood neighborhood the next day.
Just one month earlier, Schwarzenegger told Germany's Bild newspaper that he hadn't given up on his marriage to Shriver. "We're not fighting a war," he explained. "I still love Maria."
In October 2012, while promoting his memoir, Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story, the father of five predicted they would reconcile "eventually" if Shriver found it in herself to forgive him.
"It takes a lot of time to heal those wounds and to trust each other again," Schwarzenegger said on Fox News' Hannity. "But, you know, I will make every effort."
TV journalist Shriver, 57, filed for divorce in 2011 after 25 years of marriage. Months earlier, Schwarzenegger had confessed to carrying on a sexual relationship with their housekeeper, Mildred Baena. Their trysts resulted in a son, Joseph, 16. "It was a situation where I couldn't even blame anybody else but myself, because my wife was a fantastic wife," he said on Hannity.
"The thing that I cherished the most, you know, I destroyed by some stupid things that I've done. For me, it's important to kind of rebuild again, get the trust back with the kids, with my wife."
The separated spouses and Shriver are parents to Katherine, 23, Christina, 21, Patrick, 19, and Christopher, 15.
