Allen Iverson Accused of Kidnapping Children, Former Philadelphia 76er Allen Iverson is being accused by his ex-wife of kidnapping their five children and holding them in a hotel room in Georgia, according to a report from TMZ.
According to court papers filed by Tawanna Iverson, the former NBA star told his ex-wife that he was taking the kids on a short vacation in North Carolina and that he would return them on May 26. When that date passed, Tawanna tried set up an exchange with her ex-husband on June 4, but he didn't show, according to the report.
Now Tawanna believes that the children, ages 3 to 16, were never in North Carolina and are instead holed up in a hotel in Georgia. Tawanna, who has sole custody of the kids, is now resorting to the legal system to get the children back.
